1941 GMC Other Description

Ok here we go! Ultra Rare Classic WW2 4wd short bus. Built for the military as a small ordinance field repair vehicle. After it’s short life for the Military it was sold for surplus to HOWARD HUGHES for a mobile dressing room to be on the set of movies for actors and actresses. SIGN STILL VISABLE. After that life it was stored in the dry climates of Southern California when it rested until one of my buddy’s found it and processed to get it up and running. Where he cleaned and painted running gear and replaced motor gaskets and brake system so the vehicle would be functional again. Also installed brand new highway tires on it. This vehicle was moved up to Oregon and has not spent one night out side since it been in my possession. This vehicle is exceptionally solid with very little rust. There is some surface rust and maybe a total of a 2 inch by 20 inch hole total for the whole rest of the vehicle.Small box on the drivers side front cowl heald all the breakers for the 110 wiring for the work shop area. Wires and breakers are all there but need to be replaced. (Weathered as expected). I had seats reupholstered and on the bottom plywood of both seats they were signed by original worker from the factory. (Pretty cool). This bus has large gmc 6 cyl. And 4 spd. With high and low transfer case.I have drove this bus around my property a couple time when I first got it. And clutch brakes and engine ran good. That being said I see the wheel cylinder are leaking and I discovered that the float in the carb had cracks in it causing it to flood when the float filled with gas. So will need work to be dependable.THIS VEHICLE COMES WITH BILL OF SALE ONLY. No titleMissing most of back side glass but frames are present. This is a very rare classic and I hauled it behind my one ton dodge and a 20 foot car trailer no problem. My trailer is only a 10k hand it hauled it fine. Bus is just under 20 feet long and 9 ft tall. I would guess 7to8k for weight.PLEASE ASK ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING. SERIOUS INTEREST SEND ME YOUR NUMBER AND WE CAN DISCUSS THE VEHICLE. I’m happy to help with loading. CHECK ON SHIPING BEFORE BIDDING. If your local to the northwest I might be willing to deliver for reasonable. Thanks
