1989 Honda Civic RT4WD Description

1989 Honda Civic RT4WD Wagon
These almost never come up for sale, and never in this condition. This one runs, shifts, and rides perfectly. I've done all the necessary maintenance within the last 2000 miles, including:
– Timing belt (the D16A6 is an interference engine)– Water pump– All belts– Injectors cleaned & seals replaced– Rear suspension bushings replaced– New NGK plug wires and plugs– New Main Relay
I've also added some other cool stuff:
– New Alpine Bluetooth Stereo– New 100W Alpine amp– New Alpine Speakers– New Rockville 10-inch powered sub (under driver seat)– Locking Thule rack (with keys) (also comes with locking ski rack attachments)– New Roof basket– New LEDs (spots (lower) and wide beams (upper) – about 20,000 lumens)– New hatchback shocks– New fitted heavy duty floor mats
This car is super fun. It's incredible in the snow. The 4WD system uses a viscous coupling rear diff, just like the legendary VW Syncro. That means it's front-wheel-drive until it detects that the front wheels are moving at a different speed than the rear wheels—then it turns into a four-wheel drive. There are no switches—it happens automatically.
It also has the Super-Low pulling gear (dogleg left on the shifter). I've only used it briefly to test it. It works, although I never tried to pull anything with it.
The interior is in excellent condition with no cracks on the dash or tears in the upholstery. There are a couple small holes drilled in the side of the instrument pod where someone installed an altimeter. You can't even really see them. The original owner's manual is included.
The exterior has its share of dings and scratches. Nothing major—the worst is a dent on the right fender (see pics) but it's hardly noticeable. The rear fenders have been re-sprayed. I suspect someone repaired rust back there since the CARFAX says no accidents. Rust is starting to bubble the paint a little above the rear wheel wells. The panels under the taillights are dented, but I have replacements (see pics).
Overall it's a great little car—super fun to drive. I can work with your shipping company if necessary, or you're welcome to come pick up up. The car is in Salt Lake City, Utah.
