1983 Honda City Turbo II– Approximately 100k miles (163,000 km). Looks good inside and out and runs and drives very well. Japanese inspection was current through April, 2020 so road-legal and passed Japanese safety inspected.
Engine:starts right up and runs well with good power / stable idle. Aftermarket boost gauge shows .6 bar at 3500 RPM and >.7 bar at 4k. HKS controller… gets up and moves.
Drivetrain and suspension:Transmission / clutch / steering / braking all feel good. ABT 7×15 wheels with good 165/60×15” tires (2017 date code).
Interior:Looks great for a 37 year old vehicle. Gauges look good and overall interior is tidy. Honda CRX seats with some wear on driver’s seat bolster. Some plastic on the door arm-rests (silver). Small crack in the dash however spare dash included. Turbo digital gauge isn't working well but should be an easy fix.
Exterior:Looks good and the glass and lenses and chassis are very clean. A few rust bubbles showing through prior repaint and a couple small areas with light corrosion as shown in the photos. But above average condition. Will be good to repaint it and fix the small rust.
Options / Extras / Upgrades:4-way smoked sunroof (factory); Turbo intercooler; Carrozzeria radio (works for FM freq. up to 90.0); HKS controller; Service Manuals; spare dashboard; ABT wheels.
Issues:crack in dash (spare included); no horn; some rust bubbles.
History:the Honda City was something of a milestone car for Honda – commissioned by Soichiro Honda – it incorporated advance technology and forward thinking design around urban mobility.
WITH Motocompo! Motocompo is in great shape, runs amazing and needs nothing.
