1972 International Harvester Scout II
1972 International Harvester Scout Description
You are looking at a beautiful 1972 IH Scout II with factory A/C in good working condition. The Scout features a rebuilt original 345 V8 engine completed in 2014 by Automotive Machine in Scottsdale, AZ. All new Pistons and connecting rods, rebored cylinders, valve job, reground crankshaft, new cam bearings, resurfaced cylinder heads, new manifold, rebuilt rocker assemblies, 30-10-10 Master Kit, and rebuilt harmonic balancer.
New parts include but not limited to a High Volume Fuel Pump, new poly gas tank, Summit Tri Gauge, DUI Distributor, Hot Rod Carburetor, Rough Country Steering Stabilizer kit, 2.5" Lift Kit, BFG All Terrain Tires (2014), Dual Magna Flow exhaust (2014). The list of parts and work that this Scout has had to get it in this condition is exhausting. Owner has receipts for all parts and work done. Owner had a Kenwood Excelon four speaker stereo system professionally installed, and its ready to accept a kicker box in the back.
There is one scratch on the back right of the Scout near the back bumper, and another scratch on the front bumper, otherwise the paint is gorgeous. Absolutely no rust on this Scout as it came from Arizona and has been garage kept ever since. The Scout also had a undercoating done to ensure that no rust starts on the undercarriage.
Overall the Scout is a great vehicle. Unfortunately I am parting with it because I will have a young driver soon and it is too big for her to handle.
These are hard to find in this condition. I'd love for this vehicle to go to someone that will enjoy it as either an every day driver or a weekend showpiece.
Please let me know if you have any questions, I am happy to answer. Buyer pays freight from Illinois.
