1972 Jaguar E-Type Description

This Jaguar Wetbar is fully functional with plumbed sink and running lights. It’s the actual rear clip of a 1972 Jaguar E type made of metal and painted in original Signal Red and clearcoated. The bumper and custom made mirror were carved from oak and painted gloss black for the mirror and silver for the bumper. The working lights are original jaguar E type. It includes wall mounting hardware that will require being mounted to wall studs due to its weight. Approximate weight is 275 pounds. It also includes adjustable heavy duty legs to be a stand alone unit on the floor. The pictures you see in this ad, the Wetbar is utilizing the adjustable legs which are covered as you can see for a decorative look. If the Wetbar was mounted to a wall, there would be nothing underneath it. You would just see your floor all the way to the wall it’s attached to. Sort of like a parked car. Lol The interior is very well made with stainless steel sides and back and a two tier floor and cutouts to accommodate bottles, glasses, and bar utility tools like can openers, and cork screw openers. There is a remote control unit that operates the outside lights and a separate remote to operate the interior of the bar area. There is a stainless steel ice cube holder built into the floor next to the built in sink that comes with plumbing to attach to your water supply. Under the gas tank lid is a dispenser to keep straws for your drinks where the original gas intake would have been. The floor of the trunk is wood with a laminated textured look. Very exquisite and tasteful. It was built by a restoration company back in the 80’s and used as a wall mounted Wetbar by its owner, a real Jaguar enthusiast. I purchased it in 2017 and had it repainted it’s current color by a local body shop. Being a single person, it’s in my master bedroom. Ladies will think it’s extremely romantic especially with the lights on besides it being a working Wetbar! Never have seen anything exactly like it plus it’s a real etype rear clip not fiberglass. It did require a professional mover and I retained their phone number for a future buyer. The width total is 64 inches, the distance from the wall to the end of the bumper is 42 inches, and the height as you see it in the photo’s is 90 inches high with the mirror. Without the mirror the rear clip of the jaguar stands at 34 inches. Can be used with or without the mirror but the mirror was custom made for the curves of the car ( see photo in gallery) and I believe adds beauty and functionality to this one off classic piece. It’s certainly a conversation piece and crafted beautifully. The paint is show quality as is the entire Wetbar. The exhaust tips are original jaguar exhaust tips. Was made by professionals not a backyard project! Will be happy to answer any question about the build or the Wetbar that you may have. Thank you for your consideration of this classic piece of automobilia. Please know this is a showroom high quality crafted piece! If your a jaguar enthusiast like myself, it’s a show stopper! Only being offered because I’m relocating and won’t have the space for it!
