1976 Jeep CJ Description

1976 JEEPCJ7
ITS THE TSUNAMI!!! A cool vintage Jeep that looks like it came off the mountain from an archeological expedition (or maybe just out of a 70s movie looking the part)! This California Jeep is for sale with a clean title, and current registration. The CJ has always resided in California and still has registered classic blue plates! Its not a restored truck, but rather a maintained adventure truck, 70s custom time capsule outfitted with many vintageaccessoriesand options. Its a Levis edition CJ that was customized decades ago with brighter blue paint and custom Tsunami scheme, a redone interior (onlysun-visors, door panelsand dash are still Levis), painted roll bar, custom front bumper with fog lights (front tow bar also included), custom rear bumper and rack with gas can storage, spare tire and jack storage. Other neat vintage features also include dual sun roofs, cabin lighting, roof rack, air compressor (mounted onaccessorybelt) with gauge, and an air hose socket (on front bumper), and a hood mounted light indicator gauge. This CJ has 88K miles, and has the original 232 3.8L single carb with the Warner T18 4 speed, and Dana 20 transfer case. Factory drum brakes all around, 4 like new 31" MudTerrain tires, and larger 20 gal gas tank. The Jeep has been reliable to take trips down the Pacific coast, has a recent passing California smog certificate, and comes with service records since 2010. The undercarriage is straight and solid and has been coated with chassiscorrosionprotector (POR15). The Jeep is an honest truck with straight body, glossy older paint with a few flaws. Its showing rust bubbling around the windshield frame and a few on each side fenders. Clear coat oxidation on the front hood. The truck drives great with goodalignment, good highway cruising speed up to 70mph, brakes pretty well (for not having power brakes) and doesn't pull, runs cool, great torque with granny 1st gear (can drive in 2nd easily), with a working air/heater blower. This is a beautiful older Jeep that wears its patina proudly. A well maintained and cared for Jeepready for many more adventures and memories!
