1982 jeep cj-5

Up for sale is my 1982 Jeep CJ-5. It has an AMC 304 V8 engine with 3.54 gearing. It drives great around the city and on the highway. It is a 3-speed manual. It is lifted with 35" Procomp tires, Mickey Thompson wheels, etc. In March I spent over $8,200 at Collins Bros Jeep to have the entire Jeep gone through and have spent more on my own replacing interior pieces. I have receipts for everything. The only thing that hasn't been addressed is the body, which was going to be the last part of the restoration. It has minor dents and scratches, worn paint, etc. The seats are in good condition and I recently replaced the dash pad, shifter nob, and visors.
The Jeep is fun and very reliable. I drive it around downtown on the weekends but have driven it to Lone Oak, Plano, and Rockwall on a number of occasions and have never had any issues. It starts right up every time. This Jeep is the perfect candidate for a paint/body restoration and would easily fetch $20k+ after completion. It is extremely reliable after the recent work that I had done and is a blast to drive. It gets a lot of compliments. I have the title in hand. Selling for personal reasons... absolutely nothing wrong with the Jeep.
Below is a list of what's recently been done:
-New windshield frame, glass and seals
-New hood
-New interior pieces
-New alternator
-Rebuilt carburetor
-New steering box
-New lower steering shaft
-New drag link
-New steering stablizer
-Alignment
-New tie rod assembly
-Replace intake manifold gasket
-Replace valve cover gaskets
-Replace front motor seal
-Replace transfer case pan gasket and output seals
-Replace front yoke
-Replace fuel hoses
-Replace transmission skid bolts
-Replace clutch linkage
-New brake rotors
-New brake pads

-New fan shroud
-Fix guages
-New speedo cable
-New water pump
-New radiator hoses
-New fluids in front/rear diff
-New fluids in transfer case/transmission
-New motor oil
-Motor tune up complete
The bad:
-Needs new rear tires
-Floor could use new rhino line
-Does not have a radio
-Air conditioner and heater are not working
Would consider trade for a low mileage Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (plus cash on my end). Other than that, cash only.
