1979 Jeep Cherokee Chief "Golden Eagle"
210-548-1310 San Antonio Texas
Here is a rare Jeep. This is a 1979 Jeep Cherokee Chief, “Golden Eagle.” The truck is totally original and unmolested. But has been stored in a Texas hay barn for many years.
The body is very nice, very solid with no Bondo or rust issues. Only surface. There is no real body damage either. This is the original factory paint as well.
The Jeep is powered by a 360 V8, (Not currently running) but not froze. Its free and said to have been running good when parked years ago. Of course its four wheel drive, Power Steering and Power Brakes and has factory Air Conditioning.
All the glass is good except the windshield is cracked. Doors shut tight, windows roll up and down good. The original seats still in nice shape. There is NO cracks in the dash either.
The keys were lost and will need a new ignition switch installed. The steering is free and the Jeep rolls well.
This is a wonderful Jeep to restore and very rare, especially surviving so original and NOT rotted out.

Thanks for your interest and or winning bid. I hunt vintage cars and trucks across the great state of Texas, have since 2004. Most of what I find are rare and unique vintage vehicles, and generally over 40 years old. Most will have scratches, dings, dents and yes rust at some level. I do my best to accurately describe what I see. During the auction is the time to call or write with your questions or concerns, not after winning. My phone number in San Antonio is 210-548-1310. I’m friendly and easy to work with. I’m also happy to help get your vehicle loaded when your shipper arrives or help when there is a missing title situation. I offer all winning bidders two-weeks from auction end of FREE storage. Thereafter $30 per day unless previously arranged. A non-refundable deposit of $700.00 usd is due at auction end. The balance within a week via cash in person or wire transfer. Again thanks for your interest!
