1980 Jeep Cherokee Golden Eagle 76555 Miles Spruce Tip Green SUV Inline 6-Cylind
1980 Jeep Cherokee Golden Eagle Description
The SJ series Jeep Cherokee is a full-size SUV that was produced from 1974 through 1983 by JEEP. It was similar to the Wagoneer that was originally designed by Brooks Stevens in 1963. In 1975, the Cherokee Chief package was introduced. Aside from trim changes, this model received larger fenders and wider axles, allowing larger tires to be fitted to further improve off-road ability. Four-door models were not available with "wide-track" axles. The SJ series was designed as a rugged utility vehicle with an emphasis on performance, power and robustness.
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to offer this 1980 Jeep Cherokee for consideration. This well-preserved example is finished in a vibrant Spruce Tip Green with gold Cherokee decals over a tan Levi's cloth interior. The body is in great shape and shows some wear, but it has a real patina to it. The interior is very clean and original. This Cherokee is powered by the legendary 4.2-liter inline 6-cylinder engine. Mated to the 4.2-liter is 4-speed manual transmission. Factory options include: free-wheeling hubs, power steering, power disc brakes, folding rear seat, tinted glass, power locks, power windows, and a power tail gate window.
This 1980 Jeep Cherokee has a cool classic look and a lot of heft and muscle to back it up. Early Cherokees are getting harder to find, with many of the survivors having been converted to off-road 4x4 projects. Don't miss your chance to own a complete and original SJ series Cherokee!
