1980 Jeep CJ-7 Golden Hawk
1 of approximately 650 built one of the rarest and most desirable of all CJ-7’s. First series for T-176 HD transmission and Dana 300 t-case, tan multi colored denim High back seats used in Laredo, golden eagle and golden hawk, Levi’s tan dash pad, factory hard top with factory gold tinted windows, tach, clock, PS, PB, factory doors with trim tan panels, miles showing 39,471 likely 139,471 engine runs but is very tired, heavy blow by needs to be rebuilt. The body is the original paint with multiple amateur rust patch panels, the tub is restorable all panels are available, the frame should be replaced we are supplying an excellent Texas frame that has been stripped and e-coated. This Jeep can be and deserves to be restored it is among the rarest and most desirable of all CJ’s.
The color OE Dark Green Metallic is also very rare and desirable we believe that less than 10 Dark Green Metallic Golden Hawks exist. The correct decal kit is available though our parts department. If you are going to restore a CJ-7 this one is worth the time and investment.
