Mated to an automatic transmission the motor was replaced in 2012 and has less than 1,000 miles on the new motor. The transmission is smooth-shifting and sends power to either two wheels or all four through the transfer case. For 1986 the Wagoneer was given a Selec-Trac transfer case and also featured a limited-slip differential to send power to the appropriate wheels in slippery conditions.
The exterior was repainted in 2011 in the Deep Night Blue color which is complemented by the Grand Wagoneer's famous wood paneling. Externally this vehicle features all of the chrome, trim, and everything else that makes it so cool. Also, a chrome roof rack with wood trim can be found on the top of the Jeep and not only adds extra cargo capacity but additionally makes the Wagoneer have an ultra-sweet appearance.
