1976 Jeep CJ Renegade Levi Edition Description

This is an example of an honest original unmolested Jeep CJ5. Everything works as it should with no issues. I found this Jeep in Eastern Oregon last February and made it my winter project. The paint is factory original and there are just a couple of minor body dings. I don't see any evidence of an accident. One of the pics show it on a tow dolly the day I picked it up and brought it home.
This Jeep originally came from California and then settled in Eastern Oregon, so it has been in mostly dry weather. There is no rust on the body and there is some surface rust on the passenger floor pan. The driver side had a bit more but not major so I reinforced it with fiberglass and painted it (see pic). There are a few places where the factory paint has worn to the primer and some chips on the front of the fenders and bottom of the sides but none to bare metal. I wanted to keep the originality as much as possible therefore I did not have it repainted so that the next owner finish it they way wanted.
It has the original Levi seats. The rear seat is in good condition, passenger fair - good but the driver seat upholstery is well worn. I never did get to the point of looking for correct replacement seat covers, thought I would leave that task to the next owner.
The winch is the original dealer installed Warn 8403, 8000 lb capacity. It works very well.
It had the original factory Renegade hood vinyl decal, which was badly sun baked and faded. I just finished spending 2 days removing it with an eraser wheel, looks much better now!
Since February, I have inspected every moving part. Repaired or replaced whatever needed attention. The running gear was in pretty good shape, no issues and it works great. The engine is pretty much all original, it just needed a new exhaust manifold and general clean up. It runs very well, no smoke or oil usage and the plugs burn clean.
It has the original Renegade wheels including the spare. The tires are Goodyear Wrangler 31x10.50-15LT with about 85% life left. The spare is same in almost new condition.
