Evolve Motors is pleased to present this pristine Lincoln Continental!

The 1976 Lincoln Continental. Elegance. Prominence. And Provenance. This well cared for Lincoln encapsulates the definition of all three. It’s manicured lines and cozy accoutrements are the epitome of elegance. The prominence is undeniable, as it’s 21 foot stance and bold, bad – in – black demeanor command attention at every turn. The provenance is one that you can’t get with every ‘76 Town Car. The only owner of this low mileage time-piece is a well known doctor here in Chicago. He bought the car new and obviously loved it very much, as it is still in showroom condition, aside from a few age marks. To find such originality in such a high class car like this isn’t something that just happens every day. We’ve unearthed another timeless classic here at Evolve Motors, and we’re excited to share it with you!

The exterior of this car sits beautifully in it’s original jet black paint, in what appears to be all original sheet metal. You don’t need a carfax for an automobile this clean, it speaks for itself. The gaps are picture perfect, the moldings are clean and free of dings or rust. The top is A1 perfect, and shows so much character with it’s deep black graining. We’re here to give you the good, the bad, and the ugly. We do note one small ding in the stainless body line trim piece above the passenger side fender. Aside from that, this car is in fantastic condition, all the way down to the plastic bumper fillers, clean and fade free. This car’s exterior is a 9 out of 10.

Slide into the first-class captain’s seat, grip that woodgrain wheel, and smell that new-to-you-new car smell… Everything about this car screams old school gangster, from the car phone in the front seat, to the Sinatra 8-track hanging out in the radio. There’s not a whole lot I can tell you about this black velvet dreamboat. It’s clean, well kept, and looks and feels like it should. The gauges all works well, and show very little original patina. The trunk is just as well kept as the rest of the interior, looking as though nothing had ever been set in it, and big enough for a body or 2. Someone should probably hurry up and buy this thing before we decide to keep it. There’s nothing quite like a local, one owner survivor, it’s just a sight for sore eyes!

Mechanically what would you really expect out of a 23,000 mile Lincoln? The big block 460 winds right up at the turn of a key, with no coughing or stuttering. Shift it into gear and head down the highway. We don’t normally recommend someone taking a 40 year old car right off the lot and driving to Texas, but I would do it in a heartbeat in this Lincoln. Just the short test drive we took around town had us sold. The suspension’s right and tight, the running gear is solid, even the tires are clean and free of any excess wear and tear. As I look back at my description again and again, I feel like I’m just sounding like I’m selling selling selling. Here at Evolve we pride ourselves on giving you the blunt truth. We’d rather walk away from a deal for our honesty, than earn anyone’s business on a “sales pitch”. Give us a call today and I’ll be happy to do a walk around on the phone if you can’t come see it in person. This one won’t last long, so call Evolve Motors today to get your bid in on this gorgeous 1976 Lincoln Continental!
