We sell all cars as-is, which means the buyer isresponsible for any and all repairs, according to the Ohio Buyer’s Guide (includes body, mechanical, frame and interior). We do our best to describe all vehicles as accurately as possible, but keep in mind that opinions may differ and that it’sthe buyer’s responsibility to inspect the car before bidding. We advise all bidders to get a third party to check out the vehicle if they can’t make it out themselves to ensure their complete satisfaction. This must be done before bidding. When you view the pictures of the vehicle, make sure you look at them on a large screen to ensure that you can see all attributes of the car.
If the car starts and runs onto the truck, but it does not start at arrival, that is the buyer’s responsibility (cars may be damaged on a long, bouncy trip). Once the car is paid for, all buyers should put insurance on the vehicle because they now own it. We will work with your shipper or you can call Mike, our shipper, for a rate at 781-763-7447 Ext. 208. We leave all buyers positive feedback. All sales are final. All deposits are non-refundable, so please make sure you know exactly what you're buying before you bid. Our shipper will get the car to you within 4 days to 2 weeks at a fair price. If you'd like to call him for a price, that would be fine.
All cars left on our lot after 30 days will be charged $18 a day and we hope we never have to collect a dime. But we don't have enough space to store everyone's car after they're paid for. It's the buyer's responsibility to pick up their car that they just purchased. Please remember we are on the buyer's side. Please only bid if you are a real bidder who wants to purchase the vehicle, and again, if you haven't purchased 3 items over the last 3 months we will remove your bid. If you're a zero bidder and you bid at the last second just before the auction ends, the vehicle will be offered to the bidder before you and you will not end up with the vehicle, so you need to call us.
We're offering for sale a clean, classic 1989 Lincoln Town Car Survivor. This car originated from PA and its had 2 owners in Cleveland. Neither party ever drove it in the winter. It's just a pleasure to drive and the air conditioning will blow you out of the car. The tires, brakes, exhaust, front end, engine and transmission all operate correctly and are in good condition. All electric options in the vehicle work except for the passenger window, which may need a motor or just may need to be tapped and woken up to work. That's the way these old cars are. When they sit in the winter, sometimes things stick together from not being used. Please check out the body of this vehicle because it's really in nice shape. We think, for the vinyl top being original it's still good. And the interior of the car has no rips or tears in the leather, and the carpet and bedliner are both good. So are both rear door panels.
The engine not only runs well but looks good, exactly the way you'd want to see the engine if you were in the market for one. The underneath of the vehicle is solid, and somewhere along the line someone painted color in the places that it would rust. Just because it's from PA doesn't mean that the dampness of the ground won't still rust your car from underneath, because it will. The bumpers on these cars are known for peeling off, and the bumpers on this one are perfect, especially for being 30 years old. The radio works, but not great, and the power antenna works but 6 inches down from the top there is a break in the antenna, but it still goes up and down without a problem. All 4 wheels on this car are really in nice shape, but they could be detailed better. It would help to give this vehicle a better look.
The speaker cover in the passenger's door bottom came loose. So rather than just gluing it, and 6 months later from now it falls off, we put it in the glovebox so the new owner could put it back on properly with screws and glue to make sure this problem never happens again. The power trunk works fine and the miles on this vehicle read approximately 17K miles, which is exceeded. We just kinda figure its 117K, but when they have a 5 digit odometer, this is the only way you sell them. We'd also like to mention the title is clean and the car is really clean, and if you're the lucky winner you can fly in, bus in, or drive in and just cruise it on home.
