The Elan M-100 was first produced in 1989 with more than 100 HP/Litre!, the highest torsional rigidity ever in a convertible, the 1st production car to use 45 profile tires, the most comprehensive design and testing by Lotus to date, a very low drag coefficient with a steeply raked windshield, a patented front suspension to eliminate torque steer, and styled by Peter Stevens, who designed the McLaren F1.
Purchased new from Steven Kessler Motorcars in NYC (which was also a Ferrari Dealer) by a doctor or dentist from Danbury CT. He sold it to Forza Motorsports in Gaylordsville CT in 2003. The second owner purchased it from Forza in 2003 with 47,048 miles and have owned and maintained it ever since, adding less than 5K miles in those 13 years. It has a clean CarFax.
VERY RARE: Only 500 (approx.) were imported to the USA and only 50 (approx.) were yellow.
