I'm sad to let this beauty go, but I'm going to be getting a new car and I need to clear out the garage. I've absolutely loved this car, and apparently everyone else does too, as people break their necks to look at it everywhere I go and always ask to see the engine. The car originated from South Carolina and has been owned there until March 30th, 2005 where it then went to Georgia. It stayed there until February 2016.
I have now owned it for a little over a year and a half, and put roughly 1,200 miles on it, and the car has been a dream. Incredibly reliable too. I put about 160 miles on it before I took it to Rotorsports Racing to have the whole build completed. Since the build was completed, the car has only had slightly over 1,000 miles on it. Build invoice and info can be found in the photos. I have only had to put tires on it, brakes and change fluids. I have never driven it in the rain, I could not even tell you if it needed new wiper blades or not. The Hankook tires were replaced about a year ago and have a lot of life left in them, only have been driven a little over a 1,000 miles. They have excellent manners and traction, but are a tad thick for my liking. I would prefer to move to a bigger 18” wheel with a lower profile tire, but the suspension and tires wouldn’t allow for traction. The engine runs beautifully and has tons of power and torque. It has zero leaks of any kind. The transmission shifts accurately, with no grinds or pop-outs. The suspension is free of any noises and has a beautiful ride in city and on the highway.
The silver stone metallic paint is incredibly shiny and by far the most impressive color that Mazda made in 1994. The paint is in fantastic condition and shines beautifully. The car has about 2 minimal dings and no significant scratches (in fact, you'll be hard pressed to even find one), just the normal tiny flaws that any 23-year car will have. From 3 feet away, she looks flawless. The car has been in one accident and was reported as minor damage on Carfax. A dog ran out in front of the car and hit the side of the bumper. This resulted with a crack in the paint next to the driver’s side blinker and beneath it. Photos of the damage can be found in the pictures.
The beautiful black leather seats are in excellent condition, and it pops so well with the silver stone exterior. It's a fantastic color combo. The front seats show little to no wear, and the rear of the car is flawless. The carpet is in excellent condition and the floor mats are in decent condition. The only real flaw, is that the leather has worn on the top of the steering wheel and on the shifter (shown in pic), which is a very common occurrence in most cars. The driver's window switch is broken, but both windows and regulators work, can still roll down passenger window. Passenger headlight motor will skip a tooth sometimes and you have to manually override. The radio in the car is outdated, needs a newer radio to be compatiblewith bluetooth, USB etc.
The factory options that the car has are the Bose sound system, cruise control, power windows, security alarm system, and much more. The car just had a complete professional detail (including paint polish), and fully-synthetic oil change (it gets one every 2,000 miles). The car is beautiful and ready for her new owner. Feel free to ask any questions, there are a few modifications and parts that are not listed on the invoice, ( 3" PF supercars Exhaust, PC925 Oddysey Battery, etc.) or request more pics. Thank you.
