Up for auction is this Beautiful Mercedes-Benz 250 SE Cabriolet. 

This car currently has 104,248 KM (64,776) Miles.  

Owner will be going away 04/14-04/19. So if you win the car it cannot be picked up until after 04-19.

Car was purchased by current owner back in 01/2009.  

It only had 63,262 miles when our current seller bought it.  He bought it because he always wanted the car.  Avid car collector out of his personal car collection.

Current owner kept it up in Rhode Island where he owned a large car showroom warehouse where the car was kept until recently inside a temperature controlled showroom/warehouse designed to store high valued vehicles.  Was recently transported down to Florida to be sold. 

Car is currently registered in Rhode Island. Car does not have a physical title currently.  Rhode Island does not title vehicles model year 2000 and older. So I called our local DMV here in Florida and they said not an issue all we need is a bill of sale and car needs to be scheduled and brought in for a Vehicle Inspection at the Local DMV to transfer and register and new title will be issued.  

That is Florida check with your State DMV laws and requirements.  We have in our procession current registration from Rhode Island & Copy of the Original Rhode Island Vehicle inspection report when the car was purchased and dated 01/2009. We also have records previous owner before my seller was registered in New Hampshire. 

The 1966 250 SE was the predecessor to today's S-Class Mercedes Benz. 

This car is powered by a smooth 2.5 Liter Straight Six-Cylinder engine. The car capable of a top speeds of 120 miles and hour which was very impressive in its day, especially considering it was a 3,285 lb five passenger convertible. 

Other improvements from the previous models is larger 14" wheels, the fitting of a hydro-pneumatic unit on the rear axle and brakes being upgraded to discs on all four wheels. 

This Mercedes was purchased in Europe that is why its in KM and was imported to North America in 1984.

The paintwork was refreshed previous to the current owner purchasing it.  We do not have records for it but it might have been done in 2008 or 2007 ?. The paint was used is the original Silver Blue livery color when the car was originally purchased in 1966.  The color is beautiful and emphasizes the convertible's clean and purposeful lines.  

In keeping with its fine presentation, the Mercedes back at customers prior to purchase in 2008 was also fitted with a new manually operated dark blue Haartz cloth top.  Top still looks new today !! 

The blue vinyl interior and refinished wood dash remain in great if not excellent condition.  Also featuring two tone interior panels, factory blue carpets, chrome accents and real wood appointments combination to make the cabin both handsome and comfortable. 

Does not include A/C never needed it up in the North East.  

Manual crank windows and manual door locks.  Has 4 windows, Driver, Passenger, & rear passengers have their own windows.

Car may be physically inspected with 24 hours notice as car is stored at sellers home in Jupiter, Florida. If you are a buyer out of the state and you do have the option to pay for an independent inspection of the car if you are the winning bidder. If you choose not to then you waive your rights. 

Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time.

A deposit via PayPal is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 7 days of Auction end via certified funds, cash or wire transfer. If certified funds then car will not be released until funds are verified deposited and clear.

If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the Car, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise.

Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this Car. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate with any transporter you choose to hire.

We reserve the right to cancel bids for excessive negative feedback or for anything that is in violation of any other terms and conditions stated within this auction. We reserve the right to end the listing if the Car is no longer available for sale.

Payment must be completed within (2) days of auction close.  If you wish to combine multiple auctions for shipping, you must notify us in advance, and the closing dates from the first auction to the last auction are within (2) days.

Ebay will automatically file a un-paid item dispute against the buyer if payment is not made on the 2nd day.

6% Sales tax is added to the auction if the ship to address is the same state as the seller which is Florida.

Local Buyers at Time of check must click local pickup option and must pay via paypal.

Returns:

We will glady accept return of the goods only if they are not exactly as described in this listing. Returns are accepted within 3 days from the time you receive the item. You must contact us within 3 days of receiving the item, or a refund will not be granted. The item must be shipped to us within 7 days of receiving refund approval. The goods are inspected to ensure ownership and a refund will be provided. The item must be in the manufacturer's original packaging, in original condition, and include all packaging material. If a refund is desired, we will refund your full purchase. Shipping costs back to us will be the buyer's responsibility. Shipping is non refundable.
