1964 Mercedes-Benz 230SL roadster, 113.042 10-002359E. 220,0003 miles. Third owner since 1980. White with black interior and black top.
Clean, solid car. Good, reliable driver with a patina of wear across the car. Largely original condition without modifications. Older respray in original Papyrus White. Body shell and undercarriage are in excellent condition. Always garaged, always straight, always rustless, except for one very small rust area over center of left side rear fender. Paint is exhibiting some bubbling.
Original engine and four-speed manual gearbox. Engine rebuilt once under current owner at 136,000 miles.
Early car with all black leather interior. Seats and dashboard re-leathered. All other leather trim original. Original wool carpets replaced with nylon loop pile carpets.
Front and rear suspensions built a few years ago and the car has seen very few miles since.

Hard top in very good condition. Rear hard top deck no longer has leather trim, and is currently missing the hard top-to-body gasket.

Conversion to European headlamps, have the original Federal spec lamp units. Rear tail lamp units replaced with later type, original lamp units will come with the car. Also, fitted with later type amber lens tail lamps, have original white lens lamps.

Owner fitted with period M-B power steering. Have all original non-powered steering parts. Complete original factory-optional dealer-installed KuhlMeister brand air conditioning not installed but included.
Steering idler arm rod end has excessive play.
