1987 Mercedes-Benz 400-Series 420 SEL Description

I've spent almost $10,000 in interior/body/engine work. The car now has working air conditioning and a new O2 sensor both as of a month ago, reconditioned wheels and a reconditioned back seat. The front drivers seat used to lay almost flat on the floor but that has been reconstructed and is now very firm. New rear windshield with working defroster. New rear view mirror installed and I had the plastic part of the headlights replaced on both headlights. I've replaced the front pads and rotors replaced and had an engine and transmission leak fixed in 2017 and the car currently has no leaks whatsoever. Within this year I've had the timing chain/chain guides/timing chain tensioner assembly replaced as well as the timing cover gasket, oil pan gasket, valve cover gaskets, water pump/distrubutor/power steering gear box assemblies all replaced. The car starts right up and shifts smoothly and runs and drives great. CD player and 5% tints were professionally installed. The car comes with weathertech floor mats, euro style headlights(not installed)and a wooden shift knob (not installed), foot rests for the rear occupants, two keys, owners manual and all the work that I have done on the car is documented. The powerseats, windows, sunroof and cruise control allwork. Michelin Premier tires with about 1,000 miles on them. It's an old car and yes it does have some imperfections. The wood on the cigarette lighter came off and the cigarette lighter itself isn't working, some cracks in the wood(nothing too extreme), a whiteish stain on the carpet on the rear drivers side, on the drivers side behind the rear wheel the paint is bubbling up but not rusting, the car has some scratches, mainly on the front and rear bumpers as pictured, and some dents but nothing too out of the ordinary especially given the cars age. The leather doesn't have any tears in it but the leather on the two front seats is a littleworn but not too bad. The coin tray has a few holes in it as if it were burned by a cigarette. Outside of that there's not really much to mention and being that for the most part these are minor cosmetic issues the car all around is in really good shape. With a tad under 80,000 miles this car will easily have a useful life cycle of another 140,000 plus miles.I enjoy owning and driving this car and would gladly keep it, especially at the condition it's in now, but I'm moving to a condo with a one car garage so since this isn't my daily I figured it's easier to try and sell it than pay to store it.
