280SL was a special production model, and limited number of cars were produced each year from 1974 until 1985, as majority of its siblings produced were V8 models. Out of 237,287 R107’s ever producedONLY25,436 were 280SL’s, and after 30+ years of life number of 280SL's on the road today is much much smaller!!!

Even though being inline 6, the engine delivers as much power as the US version V8’s, and being lighter car, its much more nimble and fun to drive in the city and along the highway.

Undercarriage is all original, very solid, unmolested and free of any kind of undercoatings except the factory one! This SL spent its life in dry Texas, which explains its SOLID and RUST FREE condition!

This SL comes with both soft top, and the hard top! Black Canvas Soft top is in excellent condition, it is very easy to operate and rear plastic windows are nice and clear!

Hard top is also in excellent condition, including all original Sekurit glass, and the headliner which is clean, and rips and tears free!! Another important trait of this beautiful car is stamping mark on the Hard Top (14155) which reflects the last 5 digits of the vehicles VIN number!!!

Its Original Black leather interior is in great condition! Seats are in great condition and they are very supportive and comfortable!

This SL comes with very rare heated seats option, rarely found on V8 models, let alone on 6 cylinder models! It also comes with power windows, and they are working as they should!

Original Dash is in beautiful condition, without cracks or plastic dash caps – VERY rare treat on the 107 SL’s or any Mercedes of this vintage!

Original Becker Europa Cassette player is also in working condition!! Very rare to find original radio not only working, but present in these vintage SL’s!!! Just turn on the radio and go through time with the top down in this beautiful SL!

Bullet Proof 2.8 Liter inline 6 Engine is strong and powerful as ever with only 75,000 on the odometer!!

Engine starts up with ease hot or cold, and it has no problems cruising down the highway at 80+ MPH!!!

Automatic Transmission shifts smoothly and effortlessly through every gear.

This German Roadster handles great at the high speeds, and it is very comfortable.

Air Condition works as it should (A/C compressor was recently replaced), and this car is ready for some topless fun!!!! There is nothing better than driving down the road in the Classic SL, with the top down, and the wind in your hair!!!

This beautiful roadster comes with owner’s manual and its original tool set.
