1989 Mercedes-Benz S-Class 560SEL Description

Hagerty and market supports higher values, rising price trends for this desirable solidly built S Class model. This is a no reserve auction.
California car with originally issued plates (series issued that year per Wiki).
Runs and drives well. Low miles for year. Was a one owner car before I purchased it (this is my 3rd W126). Hardly driven since purchase a year or so ago.
Has a few nicks and blemishes as evident in photos: some minor door dings on right rear door; minor dent on gray panels on passenger side between doors and a small dent below driver side tail light (I have circled the spots - zoom in pictures to see). Bumper corners brushed. The car has a clean car fax from when I bought it. The hood appears repainted for whatever reasons.
Michelin tires with decent tread remaining.One of the headlights is out (bulb?)Interior is in very good condition for age - well preserved. Passenger rear door courtesy light (plastic cover) needs replacement - missing.
Sunroof works. Radio works, unsure about cassette or air conditioning as haven't tested or used. Auto antennae/switch works - rubber trunk sealis missing.
Battery 'may' need replacement as it wasn't driven much last winter. Have charged and has been working fine recently.
Spare, jack and minimal tool kit/cover included. Did not come with original manuals but I have sourced a complete set of manuals and the original Mercedes case for a 1988 model - will include it.
Selling as too many cars. This and the 1972 350SL visible in photos will be on the block!
