This 1985 Mercedes 300TD wagon has been loved, babied, and meticulously maintained by an older business man, named Bill. This was his daily driver and most loved car. It has been mechanically cared for here in Wilmington NC by “Inner Shop” a very well and respected high end shop. Bill spent nearly $10K in just the past 2 years to maintain this beast. Belts, fluids, wire harness, Brakes, transmission service, just about everything has been done, short of replacing the motor! Just a few short months ago Bill got diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer and passed away. That is why and how this car is now on Ebay. I am helping his wife, Barbara sell this Mercedes. Feel free to text or call with any questions you might have, or if you would like to set up a time to come see the car at any point! I am Brian, and my cell is 91O-52O-77five8. Below are some larger photos and you can hopefully see the condition of most everything you might have concerns about? This car is by no means a show car, but given its age and original interior, it has def not been abused and is in amazing shape! The middle row seats were out when I took the photos, and will obviously be sold with the car. Bill did have couple rust spots that started coming thru the original paint 4-5 years ago, and had the rust cut out and repaired. He ended up having the entire car painted during that time in the body shop, and also had them seal the sunroof rood because of a minor water leak. The sunroof panel is there, and might even still work, but you would have to clean the silicone out of the seal to get working again. I tried to get a couple pictures up under the car, but I can assure you, there is zero rust on the frame or floor boards. I did include the minor flaws I noticed, and they are visible in the last three pictures. Slight rust bubble in the rear, small ding on pass side door, and I’m sure a couple other minor imperfections. I’m not positive what this car is worth, but I do know you can bid with confidence after seeing my feedback and ratings. I really want this car to go to someone who was just as in love with it as Bill, and I know Barbara would love to see its new owner just as thrilled about this Mercedes as Bill always was! Good luck, happy bidding!! This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION, please please please do not bid, if you do not intend on purchasing, or do not have the funds already available!! Thanks
