1955 Mercury Monterey Description

1955 Mercury Monterrey Lead Sled - a fun low rider -original V8 engine, ew exhaust, haved door handles (will need door poppers ), ires and in great shape and hold air very well, he is low to the ground gentleman, ood interior - none of the seats have any holes or tears in them), eeds headliner, ome door trim panels reapplied, indow cranks and needs adjustment to one window as it does not crank up well (binds on drivers side), ew gas tank to install (old one was already removed as it was rusty and scaled inside - have the new one in the trunk ready to apply), attery and solenoid to apply, rame, loors and trunk and body are solid, ront and rear bumpers came off of a Packard (56 i believe, cool rat rod, an well when parked 2 years ago, eeds some minor TLC but a couple of weekends of elbow grease will get here going again. We were looking to do a mild 302 power plant swap, ut never got around to it, o some of the engine components are removed (air breather, olenoid, attery, nd heater duct but that's about it - she did run nice with the original merc engine, ust wanted something with a little more "gusto", ut just never got around to getting it done. Paint was done about 8 years ago and have the rat rod type logos applied at the same time to the front hood and rear trunk.
