“This is a true 11000 mile California Mercury Colony Park wagon. It has all 5 original tires. Runs excellent and drives the same. No rust!!” The car was 111K miles, original tires were made in 1973(DOT date). When I received the car and saw the condition, I was furious, and returned the car for refund. Seller refused to take the car back. I paid $8795 plus 3 shipping bills NJ-IN,
IN-NJ, NJ-IN. Total $10,799. The car was owned by Joseph Coker of Coker Tire Company in 2013. Copy of title included. I spent 6 months and $2965 doing the following: New Mercury and Colony Park emblems. New vinyl, and refinished the fiberglass woodie trim, new trim bolts. New Pitman arm, 5 tires, powder coat 5 wheels, shocks, brake shoes, master and wheel cylinders, brake booster, brake hoses, rear axle seals, rear window weatherstrip, engine belts and hoses, battery cables, clean over spray and touch up paint, and, clean and paint engine. Car has AC that has not been recharged. The underside of the car is dirty and greasy. The car is now roadworthy, with a ferocious amount of passing energy at 70 mph. I drove it 400 round trip miles to an International Station Wagon Club show, where it received the President's Award. It was exhibited and well received at the Krasl Art Center Concours in Michigan. This is the same model car that Dean Martin drove as Matt Helm in the movie "The Silencers" .
