We purchased years ago from a retired military officer who had several cars in various states of restoration. He had severely hurt his back and could no longer work on anything. He was a neighbor. Opening bid is 10,000 and NO reserve. We will let the auction go to end as I have a local offer of $11,500 and when I listed it last year with a $15,000 reserve it got to almost $13,000. A solid car original CJ 429 ...virtually NO rust and 90% of the parts to restore. The motor is already finished as is the orig carb with a professional rebuild we spent about $5000 on. This car belonged to yesteryear classic cars which we closed down due to health at the end of the year and was our last car. It has a clear individual NC title now. We have the building up for sale so this one too must go!
Thanks for your interest. Personal or professional inspections strongly encouraged...you will not be disappointed. Located just east of Asheville NC in Old Fort NC.
