This RIGHT HAND DRIVE 1955 MG TF has the coveted 1500 engine and is in very good mechanical condition. It drives very nicely and the gear box changes well. Engine has very good oil pressure. Brakes work well.
The paint is good and shines very nicely. On close examination, ou can detect some less than perfect preparation that was performed prior to the paint that was applied. Dependent on personal preference, ome areas could be repainted but the car looks fine as is and shines up nicely.
The interior does need some work and new carpets are needed as well as some fresh seat covers.
The roof needs to be replaced as can be seen in the photos. Although intact, he windows are difficult to see through so a new roof and side screens would be needed. It comes with two sets of side screen frames so the best can be used for the new screens.
There is no rust on the car and the wood seems to be in good shape.
All the electrics work including the horn and the lights work well as do the indicators. The headlights floor mounted dipper works too. The only electrical item needing some attention is the dash board lights where some panels do not light up at night.
The chrome shines brightly and the tires are in very good, early new condition.
The car started life in the UK and appears to have spent some time in Jamaica before being imported into the USA.
