This Midget was built into a race car in 1999 and ran its first race in 2000 with the Corinthian Vintage Auto Racing (CVAR) association in a very unique class called Spec F-Production. This is an affordable class of race car where you cannot spend lots of money on engine and suspension upgrades. It's a great way to learn how to race. #77 has run continuously for the past 16 years in CVAR. Additionally, it has run in F-Production with a different motor and transmission. Currently the car is running in Spec F-Production class. This class rules are 1972 SCCA General Competition Regulation specs. I purchased the car in 2012 and stripped it down to bare metal and did a complete restoration. Since that time the car has ran in CVAR, SVRA, and has ran at Laguna Seca, Indianapolis, Circuit of the Americas, as well as, Texas World Speedway, Hallett Motor Racing Circuit, and NOLA. It has many class wins and has won 2 consecutive CVAR SFP class championships. The car has been well maintained and is currently running a new gear box installed in Jan. 2016. Additionally, the car has a clear Texas title and you can drive it to Cars and Coffee or your favorite burger joint on a Saturday afternoon.
