1962 MG MGA Description

1962 MGA Mark II with the 1622 engine, he commission number is GHNL2/107159 and body number is E39112 and engine number is 16GCU-H-6946 Checking the MGA site for information, nd it is all likely hood that the body, hassis and engine are all what the car was born with.
The car has a complete frame of restoration and every thing on the car has been restored and replaced, othing has been overlooked.
The engine has stock bore and has not been bored and has stock pistons, id a compression check and all cylinder came up to stock for this engine. Then the engine was opened up and everything has been refreshed and new gaskets and seals. The gearbox has been overhauled and new clutch with pressure plate and throw out bearing and new seals, he rear end has been opened up and inspected and new seals installed.
The brake system is all new, ll lines replaced, ew front brakes, ew rear brakes all parts replaced. There is a new master/clutch cylinder installed. New tires and tubes, ire wheels were powder coated with new knock offs installed. All suspension bushings and tie rod ends and rack and boots replaced. There is new pressure treated floor boards installed.
The body has been completely redone and no body filler was used for repairs, nly new metal and we took the best of many fender, oods and boot lids were used. It was painted with a single stage paint and buffed out, o it is close to the factory look. No base coat clear coat was used. The body was painted also on the inside and and bottom as well.
The interior, op and carpet is all new from Moss Motors and is great, ll gauges work as they should. Car has new battery, t is a 12 volt instead of 2 six volts.
The bumpers, rille, nd all emblems are new or chrome as needed. Have a folder of receipts for all new parts purchased and many pictures of car in restoration.
