This 1961 MGA has had over $40K spent on a complete transformation to resemble an A/C Cobra. The body was removed and the front suspension was modified to handle the additional weight and handle well. The rear is a narrowed Ford inch with 3:91 gears. The transmission is a Chevy 4 speed with a HP clutch and pressure plate. The engine is a SBC 355 CI with a forged bottom end, ported 2.02-1.94 cast iron heads, 510-520 lift hydraulic cam, aluminum intake and Holley carb, HEI ignition with MSD box. The paint and body alone was over $10K. This car was built 6 years ago and has only been driven to a few car shows. I am over 60 and have decided to sell some of my collection.
