1960 MG MGA Description

This is 1960 MGA 1600 Roadster. Which had sat for decades and decades at a shop in the mean streets of Los Angeles. Buried away deep. It is mostly complete. The seats and frame were total toast so they are gone.Someone in the distant past started to restore it. They did some metal work on the right side Replaced some metal, cut the lower fender and rear dogleg. There is a patch panel for the lower fender and the left side inner rocker.This car has round vent holes cut into the hood and the rear decklid .I replaced the rear decklid with a non Swiss cheese one. And am including a nice aluminum hood skin with rusted frame if you want to lose the Swiss cheese look and go back to stock by reskinning it.This car will need everything done to it. Top to bottom, in and out.The frame has rust thru in places on the passenger side below the door .Will need metal work to fix right.The engine turns over fine but has little to no compression. So rebuild is probably in order. But most everything is here to work with .Including the original Motorola AM radio.MGAs are getting harder to find This will be a great base to build a MGA your way.Go stock or go hotrod.. Clean straight title in my name..I travel around mostly the West Coast and might be able to get it to you or close for reasonable money.
