This matching numbers 1952 MG TD is a stunning example of MGs fun and lightweight sports car. Prior to our ownership, this MG was owned by a distinguished MG Registry Director, Author of numerous historical MG documents, and a descendant of craftsmen who worked at MG in the 50s assembling the TD, Geoffrey Wheatley. This MG was subject to a frame up restoration in 2011, and was treated to new paint, a carburetor rebuild, five new tires, distributor rebuild, and rebuilt gauges, all of which function as they should. The carpet and interior were also overhauled in 2011, and may be one of the nicest we've seen in any MG of this era. The car fires right up at the turn of a key, and shifts through all gears with ease. The car comes included with a few period-correct touches, such as windshield visors, a windshield defroster, and badges throughout the car which showcase some of the past events that the car and its prior owner participated in (including a tour of the MG Factory in Abingdon). The car comes included with its full tool kit, workshop manual, soft top, tonneau cover, and a complete set of excellent condition windows with no tears. Also included is the original hand-crank. Act quickly before this perfect Summer ride is gone.
