1952 MG T-Series N / A Description
Back in 1968 I found this 1952 MG T series at the MG dealership in San Francisco, CA. It was very drivable, having many "worn-out" features which received enhancements (body & interior & exterior upholstery restoration & mechanical / engine re-build) in a timely schedule. There are several original rare parts remaining on this car: original 1952 license plates & tags, SCCA 1 plates. Additionally there are "Period" upgrades, as required, for Vintage Racing. Vintage Racing History: CSRG events, HMSA MONTEREY HISTORICS, VMR events.. In total, 18 events with "NO DNF" recording with positive comments in the Log Book. The dash plaques, track photos and Log Book included with purchase.Also included with purchase: race front fenders (restoration necessary), cycle fenders, 12 inch Alfin front drums with dual wheel cylindars, new 450/500 tires, Firestone {Coker}on 16 inch wire laced-wide track wheels (5);not having race mileage!! Full flow oil cooler, quick release Arnold radiator cap. Photo display shows, included: bolt-in roll bar with harness plus two 3 inch race belts. Included with purchase, and may not be in photo, is a special Gahh [German manufacture] tan leather, separate cushion unit, for the "taller driver" which matches the the total Gahh tan leather interior seat and door panel upholstery. The exterior of vehicle has an outside "kill switch" for, all electrical, (being an additional )"upgrade - race qualification", item .. along with sump catch can. there is a removable top frame assembly to accommodate for the roll bar height ( view photo with having HMSA decal on one bar brace). The vehicle of past and at present, has the 1500 cc close ratio engine thathas the Mauricio Gamboa steering set-up and ** was rebuilt late '60 era by, **Art Meyer Advance Engineering **, San Rafae, CA. Past & Still present :: FASPEC front stabilizer one-half inch carbs early "T" series valve cover with special nuts and early Brooklands steering wheel with serial # 04RR5; Koni adjustable rear shocks, dual Brooklands race screens, original bulb head and road lights with screens. The battery is new, October 2019 with separate "on - off" switch.Again, past and present are 3 green sun visors attached to the top and 3 side curtains which are usable. The additional parts in photo display are included with purchase at no additional cost: full set 15 inch stock TF wheels {no rubber}, full set running board step trim in original boxes. Additionally: spare sheet metal, chassis parts literature items & books, manuals for both TD and TF engines // re-built transmission by Jarl DeBoer. The original 1250 cc engine block is a "spare" along with additional parts included with race photos of MHAR and CSRG prints. The original MG jack, Nok-off hammar stainless steel wheel, trim rings and full set of original Whitworth wrenches, included with purchase. Also, 2 gas tanks with side trim and cap, left and right mint rear fenders, 2 front fender liters, front & rear gravel shields and running boards.This vehicle being sold as per text description and used condition having no warranties expressed or implied; having as is, where is, sale in Mariposa, CA.
