1969 MG MGB Description

Selling my '69 MGB restoration project. Still has the original paint as far as I can tell. The car has sat in a garage since 1982, and because of this, only has 32, 729 miles on it! It even has the optional black leather seats, which are pretty stiff, but not ripped or torn. The motor is locked up from sitting, and has had oil soaking in them for a while now, but is all there and original. The car is from Oregon, and has no rust, as shown in the pics. This would be an easy project; rebuild the motor, rebuild the brakes, and be driving! Car is located near Princeton, Illinois, just off I-80. Any questions, feel free to call 815-714-4309. Thanks for looking!

A few people have asked, so I took and added more pics, looked closer, and there is no rust, other than a little surface rust on the lower front fenders. This car would be perfect as a donor for someone with a rusty car, and good motor. Also, this does not have an overdrive. Motor/trans is out, but I can put them back in if needed.

Ok, I added more pics today. Inside the trunk looks great, just a couple small surface rust spots. The last pic of the left front fender shows the flaking paint on that fender. I don't know if got near heat, or was prepped poorly when painted, but the rest of the car's paint looks fine, probably a good buff and it will shine up pretty good, only have to paint the front fender. The trunk look shows light wearing through in one spot. I also showed the aluminum hood, it doesn't have the usual dent in the center from the gas station attendant... I also found the full tonneau cover in good shape, the original owners manual, and the jack and spare. Bumpers shine up well as shown, but the grille has a few little dents along the top of the frame.
