We have this beautiful 1962 MGA for sale. It's frame-off restoration was complete sometime around 1994by a customer of ours. The owner did not cut any corners while building this car, he used NOS parts when available and tried to make this car very correct. It is not a concourse car but it is a nice show car, this car has won many shows in the years after it was completed. The car was parked around 2000 and sat covered in Brian's garage till a few weeks ago when we picked it up. Since we have had it we have gone through the brakes and clutch, the fuel system, and checked the car over completely. The car is in excellent shape and has very few miles since its rebuild. The car drives well except for flat spots on the old bias ply ties causing a vibration over 35 MPH. The paint on the car is not perfect but it is in very good shape with no major chips, scratches, or dents. This car is sporting a beautiful red leather interior with black carpets. It is also outfitted with a real factory wood “light-alloy” steering wheel. The wire wheels are new chrome reproductions. The bumpers and windshield frame have been re-chromed and are still in great shape. The suspension and steering are all very tight, whenthe car was built all the frame and some suspensioncomponents were powdercoated gloss black. The body was painted inside and out and has no undercoating sprayed on it.
This is a great car and would make an excellent weekend driveror show car. Any questions or if you would like to see the car in more detail please call 501-851-2640.
