1960 Nash Metropolitan "Classic American Car" — Recent Upgrades -- "Runs Great"
1960 Nash Description
This very cool, snazzy little attention-getting piece of British-American automobile history was recently purchased by your Seller... by mistake, while walking into church one Sunday morning and mistakenly "clicking" one too many times! The person from whom Seller purchased this vehicle — who has a 100% positive reputation on eBay — has described it as having 50K miles and provided the following additional details about the vehicle, all of which Seller believes to be fully accurate: "…We bought it from a large private collection 5 years ago in Ohio. It had been stored inside but not run in many years. I rebuilt the carburetor, installed all new hydraulics on the clutch, new brake master cylinder, new wheel cylinders, new flex lines and new tires. The floor pans and body are original and are in good shape. There is a few small areas with minor rust but it does not detract. Its runs great! My wife has put around 1,500 miles on it since we have had it…."
Get ready to grab everyone's attention driving this two-toned international beauty, which was designed in the US, manufactured in Britain, and imported by Nash Motor Company, an innovative predecessor of what became American Motors Corporation. (Note the reference to AMC in the photograph showing the plaques inside of the engine compartment.)
