You are looking at aVintage Survivor1957 Nash Metropolitan Coupe. It has been stored for most of it's life and has been well taken care of. It is in amazing cosmetic condition and runs well. It is being sold to settle an estate. The Nash Metropolitan was American designed and British built, and measures less than 13 feet. Many people refer it to America's first sub-compact car. The first ones were produced in October 1953, and over the next eight years, over 95,000 Metropolitans were produced and sold under the car names of Nash, Rambler, AMC and Hudson we are told. The engines were Austin produced and they were a very popular vehicle. Below is a video collection of thevehiclerunning and driving:

It starts, stops and shifts through the three forward and one reverse gear effortlessly. Given the storage, the car should be checked over before use. We have no way to know the physical condition of the engine, transmission or drive train aside from how it runs and drives. We did notice the ignition switch sticks and have been cutting power at the battery. Figure on an ignition switch to fix the issue. The tire age is unknown.Fluids, belts, brakes, tires etc should also be checked due to long term storage. Everything we tested works aside from the radio. Cosmetically, it is in superb shape but not perfect. The paint looks awesome as does the underbody, but as with all restorations, there are a few spots toward the bottom of the car that was not done perfectly. The interior is about as nice as you will ever find and is near perfect including the headliner. Please review all the photos to get a good feel for cosmetics and overall condition.
