Seller's Notes1957 Nash Metropolitan Custom! This Met has 3 major modifications: 1992 ford Ranger V6, Ford Automatic 3 speed Trans, and Disc brakes in the front! These modifications are not cheap to install! Cars runs well and body is solid. This Met has an electric fuel pump, cooling fan installed forward of radiator, and regular key ignition-no pull start. The paint looks ok, but is far from show quality. All mods were performed early 2000 by Metro lover from Kansas now deceased.
I have had many requests for under carriage photos so i have added a few. In the last photo i think you can get an overall view of the custom work done. You can see where the exhaust pipe exits the passenger side, the main support bar welded across to support the automatic trans, where the hydraulic reservoir is placed, and the electric fuel pump position on passenger side. The rear pumpkin reads "ATA 7165 ", and the transmission has the Ford logo with what appears to be a cast number C 800 A. Additional tag reads 92GTA 02 E. The rear brakes are still drum brakes using standard Metropolitan components.
