1989 Nissan 240SX S13 240SX Description
Selling my 1989 Nissan 240SX Silvia Club K's with SR20 turbo engine swap. This is a USDM car with JDM parts on it. Currently legally registered/plated/titled in Nevada. Smog exempt due to age. This is my daily driver so miles will go up, selling due to my truck having timing chain issues and needing money to fix. (Ford life.)
Car does have minor cosmetic issues as to be expected with any 1989, absolutely no rust. Two larger dents above wheel wells (I believe from the fenders being pulled), they look like they could be popped out fairly easy. Minor dings all over car due to age. Paint chipping here and there but overall good condition. Would look great with a buff job. Car has been garaged the last 3 years, I registered it and started daily driving it in April. Interior is fairly clean, no rips or tears in seats. Could use shampooed but no cosmetic damages. Carpets are clean. Has a Sony CD player with an aux input. Dash is cracked (common on Nevada/California cars such as this), has a plastic dash cover from FRSport. Not perfect but it looks decent for what it is.
- SR20DET Turbo Red-top engine swap, unknown miles on swap but pulls strong / no leaks / no issues
- 5 speed manual transmission
- Engine is bone stock with the exception of aftermarket BOV and front-mount intercooler
- Walbro aftermarket fuel pump
- Power steering swapped and works great, no issues
- Car does have A/C swapped in as well, just needs a belt on A/C compressor (and possibly a charge, I've never tried to use)
- 17x9 Enkei RPF1's with 235/45 Falken Azenis tires
- OEM JDM Silvia projector headlights
- OEM JDM Silvia front fascia piece
- OEM JDM Silvia front clip
- OEM JDM Silvia trunk badge, swivels as it should and have key for trunk
- OEM JDM Silvia "K's" emblems
- OEM JDM Silvia rear "Silvia" text
- OEM JDM Nismo turbo-back exhaust (very mild sound due to the turbo)
- OEM JDM Nismo shift knob
- Momo Prototipo steering wheel
- Legit Works Bell hub

- Welded differential, have an open differential that I can include with the sale.
- Tein coilovers with camber adjustable plates/tophats
- Aftermarket links/etc., a lot of aftermarket suspension components underneath
- S14 rear brake swap
- Z32 front brake swap
- Poly bushings / mounts pretty much everywhere
I'm sure I'm forgetting a few things, overall it's a solid 240SX that was built right with legit parts.
The only few "bad" things I can think of, none effect driveability:
- Throw-out bearing is making noise and will likely need replaced soon
- Carrier bearing makes noise and could use replaced as well
- Coilovers feel soft, not sure if blown or just soft spring/dampening rates, never bothered me but it is worth mentioning
- Wheels/tires could use balanced, they have a slight shimmy above highway speeds
Buyer responsible for vehicle shipping or pick-up. I can arrange for pick-up at Las Vegas airport if needed. I would not hesitate to drive this car cross-country if needed. I've put 2,000 miles on it since April and have had no issues at all.
