1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass S Description
This 41,870 mile survivor is as nice as you'll ever see. The original, factory upgrade cloth interior looks like it has never even been sat on, much less used. Perfect dash, carpet, headliner, package shelf, visors, etc. The paint is at least 90% original and still retains excellent shine. Undercarriage is dray and rust-free. Underhood shows excellent, as built. Glass is excellent. Correct SSII wheels with raised white letter radials. Original, clean luggage compartment. All lights, gauges, radio, and A/C system works perfectly. Factory power drum brakes stop straight and true. This was a one-owner car until just a few years ago when original owner passed. Bought new in Amarillo, Texas by a WWII pilot, whom took it home to Kansas upon retirement. Always garaged, and never winter driven. Babied from day one! 2nd owner replaced the braking system wheel cylinders and master cylinder, but had the original rebuilt, and comes boxed up in the trunk, proving the respect shown this car. He also preferred the more aggressive looking 442 grills, so installed them. Again, boxing the originals and sending them along in the trunk. Upgraded radio speaker, RWL radial tires, new battery, and upgraded 134a Air conditioning refrigerant are the only nods to modern day driving pleasure. Not a miss, shake, wobble, or rattle in this amazingly kept Cutlass. It will exceed expectations.
