1955 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight 88 Description

Up for auction today is perhaps one of the nicest 1955 oldsmobile 88's in the country. This car received a frame on restoration in 2007 and has been stored in a climate controlled man cave ever since. Let me first say, there is not now, neither has there ever been any rust or damage issues of any kind. This car is solid, straight, and slick with the orig sheet metal. The floor pans, trunk, rockers, frame and etc is perfect! The paint is basecoat/clear coat and is a 9.5 out of 10. The red and white interior is perfect. New from headliner to carpet, from seats to package tray. Beautiful! There is not even a crack in the steering wheel, which is very rare. All factory gauges and all lights, etc work great. Even the orig radio works! All chrome and stainless is in excellent condition. All glass perfect! Side windows roll up and down with ease. All chrome around windows been redone along with the door handles, taillight bezels, trunk pieces, hood ornament, and I could go on and on, but I believe you get my point. Orig engine and hydromatic trans runs great. Transmission shifts great. Will leak a little over time. Just saying. The car is now running a 1957 j2 3 deuce intake. $2,500.00 alone. The car rides like floating on a cloud with the wide white wall radial tires and the factory knockoff flipper hubcaps. Over all a very nice rare 55 olds. When is the last time you saw one?
