1964 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible. Original Survivor. Clean. Dependable.
1964 Oldsmobile Cutlass Description
I have decided sell my Olds. Can't keep them all! It's a very original classic. Has been stored inside it's whole life. Has never been anything but a weekend driver. Never an every day car. It has had sections repainted, (Cashmere Beige) the seats have been re-upholstered. Door panels, dash and carpet are original and very nice. Floors and trunk are perfect. It has never sat out in the weather, so not a rust bucket! Other than a couple of very small surface spots above both rear wheels as is common in GM cars. All the weatherstrips and seals have been replaced. Original 330 V8 engine, factory 4 bbl car has been rebuilt. ST-300 2 speed automatic, also rebuilt. Transmission has the coolest feature! A variable pitched torque convertor. It changes with throttle acceleration to provide either more power or better fuel mileage. Feels almost like an overdrive. Plus, I consistently get 20 mpg. Extremely dependable! I have used it as a daily driver to and from work, which is a 25 mile trip. Also taken a number of short trips in it. Power steering. Power brakes. A/C, {holds freon but needs clutch}. Power top, and it works. All lights, signals, wipers, fan, dash lights work as they should. Windows roll up and down smoothly. The car drives well. Carter AFB 625 CFM. HEI distributor. New master cylinder, new KYB shocks. New dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and 442 trumpet exhaust tips. New American Racing Torque Thrust ll polished wheels with new BFG tires. I have all of the original parts that were on the car, Quadrajet, points distributor, etc. You would have a very hard time finding another 53 year old vehicle in this condition unrestored. Clear title in my name in hand. Not interested in trades, CASH ONLY. Got too many cars now! ALSO.... I have the correct console for 64 Cutlass/442 with tachometer in nice condition. Also the correct floor shifter and steering column with collar for floor shift. I bought them for it, just haven't gotten it changed over. Call or text 479-427-9203 at reasonable daytime hours.
