1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass Cruiser SL Description
1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass SL station wagon. Station wagon version of the Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera. This has been my daily driver since 1991. 3.3 V6 engine, automatic transmission, air conditioning AM/FM cassette player, cruise control, tilt steering wheel, power windows, power door locks, power driver seat, power recliner on driver seat and passenger front seat, remote release tailgate, third seat option, wire wheels, wood grain, luggage rack, power brakes power steering. Remote door lock key fob. Rear seats fold flat for a large cargo area. Hidden storage area under floor by tailgate large enough for a good size toolbox. Some storage under the third seat as I remove and discarded the seat cushion to make room to stow my jumper cables and other tools. Rear window opens separately from tailgate allowing you to load 4 X 8 sheets of drywall or plywood. They will extend about a foot past the tailgate. Great feature for bringing home very long pieces of lumber as well. Spare tire in right side of cargo area in vertical position. Tagged until September 30, 2018. Some of the New or rebuilt parts recently added: rebuilt alternator and serpentine belt 2017, rear brakes, drums, wheel cylinders springs hardware and shoes December 2015, new intake manifold gasket December 2015, rebuilt starter November 2015, New catalytic converter and all pipes behind it November 2015, new Delco front struts and springs September 2015, new right front door power window motor 2015, four new Michelin defender tires July 2015, new ignition module March 2015, new fuel pump and fuel filter January 2015, new Delco spark plug wires December 2014, both front wheel bearings replaced November 2014, new front brake pads and spark plugs and oxygen sensor July 2014, new crank sensor and harmonic balance or April 2015 New belt tensioner assembly July 2007, new radiator 2006, transmission rebuilt November 2014. Front seats have been replaced and don't perfectly matched the other seats but are close. Headliner is red from another wagon. It fell apart and I re-glued it last year. Gas mileage averages 20 miles to the gallon local and as high as 27 on a trip with no AC. Paint is faded. I bought this primarily to ship large eBay items as they would not fit in my 1968 Pontiac Lemans trunk. If you bought anything from me since 1991 this station wagon delivered it to FedEx and then to you. I also used this as my work car at the General Motors assembly plant in Wilmington Delaware where they assembled the Pontiac Solstice and the Saturn Sky sports cars. I was a vendor at the plant for the front and rear fascia's for these sports cars and used this station wagon many times to deliver some of their fascia's to the GM plant. The employees nicknamed it the “fascia wagon”. A Pontiac Solstice GXP emblem and a Saturn Sky Red line emblem adorn the tailgate along with a Opel GT emblem from these great sports cars. One picture shows two Pontiac Solstice fascia's in it. Fascias are NOT included. But I am including one copy of “The Pontiac Solstice Book” by Gary Witzenburg. This is a detailed book on the history of the Pontiac Solstice and Saturn Sky. Also included is the 1991 Oldmobile Cutlass GM factory shop manual and some small extra parts that I have. This car is old and some things have have quit working on it. They are as follows. Radio is intermittent, Cassette does not work, door locks unlock from drivers door but wont lock from it, I use the right side door to do so, air conditioning works but needs a recharge (R12), Tailgate and its window struts are weak in cold, right rear door window does not work, left rear door window motor is slow. Right rear hubcap lock is stuc, power antenna not working but in up position, Front seats changed, one rear speaker is not working, rear defroster quit after both metal ground pads fell off the glass wire grid,
Windshield chip above drivers head since 2006, right tail light hole patched with red plastic, rear bumper filler missing, license plate light not working.
I will not arrange shipping for this. You will have to do that or arrange for local pick up. I have clear title in hand. Car currently has 217,230 miles on it. They may go up slightly as sometimes I need to use it. Thanks for looking and I hope somebody can use it. By the way it's got to the point where people now look at it as if it's a classic car.
