1965 Oldsmobile Cutlass Description
This is one of six antique cars I own that I rarely have time to drive in past years but even less this year since all car shows and cars and coffee have been canceled due to Covid. For this reason, I have decided to downsize. This is a base model with power steering and brakes, power tailgate window and the original AM radio (works). It has the original vinyl floors and vinyl cargo mat. I actually purchased a second 1965 Oldsmobile for the front bumper and a few other parts. I have invested a considerable amount of money in the car and I have mixed feelings about selling it. The current mileage is 93237 and is titled actual mileage.
I have records for the following work:
Overhauled Engine and Transmission, new fuel pump, water pump, power steering pump and starter, rebuilt carbAll new brake components including hoses, wheel cylinders and master cylinderNew radiator, all new hoses.New starter and batteryNew shocks, wheel bearings, control arms, bushings and the exhaust
Repainted original color in 2016.Original interior reinstalled after sealing rust free floors.More recent work includes four new whitewall tires, all new transmission seals and gaskets to fix leaks which have developed from sitting.
This car always starts right up tracks straight down the road. I would get in this car and I drive it to Florida today. Sale includes two sets of hub caps. (Dog dish and full)
A few minor issues:Right front window crank needs clip to be reinstalled. Interior is original with the driver seat and cargo area showing some wear.I have a copy of the original Virginia title from 1965.
This car has a reserve which is realistic and below what I have invested in it. The car is available for inspection in Richmond Virginia PRIOR to bidding. Bidders with few than ten positive feedbacks need to contact me prior to bidding. Serious bidders only please. I’ll assist with meeting shippers.
