This auction is for a 1934 Oldsmobile model L34, 4 door, straight 8 cylinder engine, 3 speed manual transmission automobile.
This elegant, classic automobile often attracts attention. Please examine the vehicle pictures.
As you can see, the interior has been redone by one of the previous owners and is in very good condition. The interior seems luxurious and is a real strong point of this car. The interior handles and window cranks are in nice condition. The original "Flying Lady" hood ornament is an attention getter all on its own.
I have owned the vehicle for about 20 years and know of 2 previous owners. Beyond that I do not know the history. The car has been in California with the last 3 owners and I am not aware of any significantbody rust.
The odometer reads 16,627 miles. I do not know, but assume it has rolled over from 100,000.
The body seems very sound. There are some small dings on the fenders/body, some paint scrapes and scratches, some paint cracking. The front fenders have small welds where I assume there may have been cracks at one time. The weld on the driver's side is approximately 2 inches long (see the red circle in the photo of the fender) and the passenger side has a similar weld that is approximately 1/2 inch long. These would need to be ground down before painting the car. The passenger side trunk latch is missing the half that attaches to the trunk lid. The one non-original thing I am aware of is the previous owner installed an electric fuel pump.
The car has not been run for several years. It had a brake fluid leak in one of the rear fittings. I replaced the fitting, but major family medical issues arose and I have never gotten back to working on the Olds. Currently, the brakes need bleeding as there is no pressure when the brake pedal is depressed. Also,a new battery is needed.
When this car is running, it can easily do 65 mph on the highway. It is afun vehicle to own and drive. A nice piece of automotive history.
The car has a clear California title and is registered as Planned Non-operational (PNO).
The Vehicle is Sold in "AS IS CONDITION". With No Warranty, No Guarantees are Offered or Apply.
