Thanks for looking at this custom 1984 AM General M923 "Bobbed" 5 Ton VIN numbernl0j8vc52307190 this vin was made specifically for a military vehicle. This vehicles life started serving our country in the Iowa National Guard. It was well taken care of by our fine serviceman before coming into ourpossession. We bobbed it using the front leaf springs from another 5 Ton. Lots of time and care went into cutting the front of the bed and bolting it together. As well, we took care in cutting the frame and remove the rear axle, Upgrading the tire was a must so we sourced a set of military Michelin 54" tires with accompanying wheels. Features the famous Cummins diesel with automatic transmission. Also has a cold start ether tank. This model does not have the CTIS, so you have no worries with a leaky air system. The truck has 25,000 miles and 1000 hours run time. No rust, or body damage. Everything works as designed and is very reliable. Put 4 new military spec batteries in from Interstate in summer of 2015.
