Clean Texas Title in hand- This Land Cruiser needs some work, (*is not currently driveable*) but little to get it to a daily driver. A/C blows cold. I'm no mechanic, but can get it to turn over and roar to life with a jump and some spray into the carb. The engine is solid and strong. It has great bones, and minimal rust. Meaning nothing serious. (None of the rotted out cancerous rust. *On the right rear quarter panel you'll see some rust. That's in an arc shape over the tire. That is fairly deep but not all the way through. That's the 1 spot I would address myself, but it's very small. Frame/undercarriage should be cleaned and coated to preserve the cruiser for decades to come. It has a Fairey Overdrive installed for high/low; which means it's got 16 forward gears and 4 in reverse. Faster highway/better off road. Pretty sweet and a rare addition to any Cruiser on the road. It comes with some spare parts, (a few hoses, another carburetor, Landcruiser tools: jack/accessories) original manual, & 2 sets of wheels, including spares. There are some dents on the hood and around the body. Smitty built rear bumper, super tough front bumper with spot for winch. No winch wire, but still have the box and remote; unsure if they operate.
What I know it needs: battery, fluids, power steering belt, windshield, right rear window, new tires, possibly some electrical, but not sure what. The roof seals are not rusted & are still holding up, but I would pull all the old seals out & reseal. The choke is pretty locked up. One of the 2 hinges that attach the back portion of the driver seat needs replacing. It has no stereo. There some peeling of the clear coat starting on the right front fender, and a paint job at some point would be good. Some of the interior panels could be replaced along with carpeting, but now we're talking cosmetics.
