You are bidding on a replica of the Magnificent 1939Bugatti Atlantic. An 8 year effort tochop, cut and rebuild a donor car into this hand formed aluminum beauty. Body skin was made by a well known classics restorationshop. Hand formed metal work is kinda hard to find. Most body shops are parts changers and parts changers can't build this type of beauty. Here are some important details:Build has taken place at several specialty Custom Build shopsWheels are custom built for this car.Donor car body was removed. Chassis was chopped cut and refabricated by Rutters in North Carolina. Some of the thousand pictures i have are shown of the chassis so you get the idea of quality in the build.
The chassis could handle a 700hp power plant if you wanted. But we have a peppy 260hp 6 speed package currently installed to tool around with. Also comes with a Jaguar straight 6 DOHC engine that resembles the famous straight 8 DOHC Bugatti motor as an extra but not installed.Custom leather interior.Car is near complete. It is in Maryland Restoration Shop undergoing late stages of paint, glass and mechanical shake down.
