Description 1941 Packard Super 8 160 Long-Wheelbase Touring Sedan

LOCATED IN REDONDO BEACH, CALIFORNIA.
Beautifully restored 1941 Packard 160 Long Wheelbase Touring Sedan.

Excellent show-quality restoration of a solid original. 138" wheelbase. Model 1904. Correct Barola Blue and Silver French Grey paint. Re-chromed bumpers and trim. Correctly rebuilt 356 cubic inch, 160 HP straight 8 engine WITH FACTORY OVERDRIVE. Whisper quiet. Runs and drives flawlessly. Radial tires. Will run on the freeway all day at 70+ mph.
New, correct wool interior. Excellent interior plastic and trim. Original woodgrained dashboard and moldings. Very correct throughout. Highly optioned with working Packard radio, heater/defroster, dual sidemounted spare tires with covers, bumper guards, driving lights, turn signals and more.
This car is a veteran of several Packard Club and Classic Car Club of America tours. Recognized as a Full Classic™ by the CCCA. Plenty of space for passengers and luggage, but not as huge as a limousine, so easier to handle and park.

I have personally owned 9 pre-war Packard and been around hundreds over the years, so I am in a good position to compare. I have driven this car and it is one of the best. I would not hesitate to jump in it tomorrow and drive across country. It was just driven by the owner on a 150 mile round trip to the Packards International Annual National Meet, where it was a featured car. Truly the best of both worlds: show or go!
