Packard Clipper Deluxe 8
1947 Packard Packard Description
This is a very pretty Packard. Very nice to drive. Engine runs like a sewing machine. Lots of horsepower. The fuel-pump, double-diaphragmed, is recently rebuilt. Brand new battery. Sitting in the back is like sitting in an over-stuffed chair. The biggest down-side of this car is the paint job. It was not done well. We have owned this care for 12 years and had this paint job when we got it. The roof paint is soft and bears a pattern from, perhaps, a tarp. The paint on the one door is cracked. (Both of these problems are shown in the photos.) There is also some slight damage to the chrome, which is shown in the pictures as well. All the gauges work but the clock and radio do not. I love this car, but I cannot exercise it like I should and it needs to be run. I, of course, would be happy to answer any questions you have.
