1949 Packard Packard Deluxe Description

Car is ready to be restored. This is the 22nd series (the rare earlier '49) Eight Deluxe, 5393 built. Comes with a rebuilt engine with the transmission and clutch already assembled and ready to go in. It is a very solid car with, from what I can see, only a few spots of rust through on the rockers. Has been in storage since 1959. Original engine is still in the car but the block is cracked. Rebuilt that comes with the car has the correct date coded block and also a 288. It is a project but it is very reasonably priced. Parts, including the trim parts are surprisingly easy to find and reasonably priced as well. I hate to sell it but we are moving across the country and I can't take all of my cars with me. Comes with a bill of sale. Cars were not titled back in '59 but ebay made me select "Clear title".
